SELECTED PROJECTS – GRAPHIC DESIGN & CREATIVE PORTFOLIO
Great design comes in many forms.
At Fitzpatrick Design, we've worked with businesses, organisations and individuals across a wide range of sectors, creating distinctive visual identities, marketing materials, printed publications and creative communications.
From book cover design and corporate branding to luxury wedding stationery and international marketing campaigns, our graphic design portfolio reflects the breadth of our experience and our belief that effective design should be both visually engaging and purposeful.
Many of our clients have worked with us for years, and we're proud of the relationships we've built along the way.
Here are a few selected creative projects that demonstrate the diversity of our work.
IDEAS TOOL KIT – CREATIVE CONCEPT & PROMOTIONAL DESIGN
Sometimes the best way to demonstrate creative thinking is to have a little fun with it.
Our Ideas Tool Kit was a self-promotional design project conceived as a playful take on the creative process.
Presented in a specially designed card-covered box with a laser-cut foam interior, the kit contained a selection of items supposedly guaranteed to help the recipient generate brilliant ideas; provided they followed the accompanying instructions.
The concept combined creative direction, packaging design, graphic design and a healthy sense of humour to create an unusual and memorable promotional piece.
It was even reviewed by Design Week editor Lynda Relph-Knight, who offered a particularly memorable assessment of our efforts!
“What a complete waste of money, you could’ve just sent a postcard.”
Charming! A reminder that creativity doesn't always have to take itself too seriously.
MARKETBOOMER – INTERNATIONAL B2B MARKETING DESIGN
Effective business-to-business marketing relies on communicating complex products and services clearly and professionally.
Marketboomer, based in Sydney, Australia, provides online procurement platforms to hospitality organisations around the world.
We worked closely with the company to develop engaging marketing materials for both print and digital applications, supporting the communication of its technology-led services.
Despite the geographical distance, our working relationship demonstrated how collaborative creative partnerships can operate successfully across international markets.
With a time difference of approximately nine and a half hours, we were often able to develop design solutions overnight, ready for the client's next working day.
The project reflects our experience in B2B graphic design, corporate marketing communications and working with international clients.
MR. & MRS. – LUXURY WEDDING STATIONERY DESIGN
Special occasions deserve thoughtful design.
When one of our long-standing clients announced their wedding, we were delighted to be asked to create a coordinated suite of luxury wedding stationery.
The project included wedding invitations, save-the-date cards, place cards, menus and personalised cookie bags.
Each element formed part of a consistent visual approach, helping create a cohesive look across the wedding celebrations.
From the first invitation to the final table detail, the project demonstrates how considered typography, graphic design and attention to detail can bring a special event together.
And, of course, we wish Mr. and Mrs. Tucker a lifetime of happiness!
IFEAT – INTERNATIONAL BROCHURE & PUBLICATION DESIGN
Clear, consistent communication is essential for international organisations.
IFEAT — the International Federation of Essential Oils and Aroma Trades — represents the interests of businesses working within the global flavour and fragrance industries.
Fitzpatrick Design was commissioned to design and produce the organisation's quarterly brochure, distributed to an international readership.
The project demonstrates our experience in editorial design, brochure design, publication layout and corporate communications.
Through considered typography, structured layouts and a consistent visual approach, we help organisations present information professionally and accessibly to their audiences.
CASTLE EMPLOYMENT – CORPORATE BRAND DEVELOPMENT & GRAPHIC DESIGN
A strong brand should bring every part of a business together.
Castle Employment Group is an independent Yorkshire recruitment business operating across eight specialist divisions.
Our brief was to evolve the existing Castle brand, create greater consistency across its divisions and support the company's ambition to strengthen its position in the Yorkshire recruitment market.
Working closely with the Directors and Management Team, we developed a coordinated approach to the brand's visual communications.
The project included brand development, corporate photography, brochure design, divisional folders, business stationery and signage schemes.
By bringing these elements together within a cohesive visual identity, we helped create a more consistent brand presence across the business.
The project demonstrates our approach to corporate brand development: understanding the organisation, creating a clear visual direction and applying it consistently across every relevant touchpoint.
WINKING WILLY’S – RESTAURANT BRANDING & LOGO DESIGN
Winking Willy’s is a well-established fish and chip restaurant in Scarborough, North Yorkshire. Fitzpatrick Design was commissioned to refresh its brand identity, creating a distinctive character-led logo and a series of bespoke illustrations that brought personality to the brand.
We extended the new visual identity across shopfront concepts, restaurant signage, menu design and printed marketing materials, creating a cohesive and recognisable brand experience.
“It's great to work with a design consultancy that actually delivers on its promise, providing excellent design concepts that we didn't even know we wanted!”
DAVID MACGREGOR | Managing Director Winking Willy’s
