BLOSSOMS AT RUTLAND HALL
Rutland Hall is a luxury hotel and resort set on the banks of Rutland Water, with a rich history dating back to the 19th century. Fitzpatrick Design was commissioned to develop a new brand identity for Blossoms, the hotel’s restaurant, creating a distinctive visual identity and a range of print and digital marketing materials.
The project combined hospitality brand development, graphic design and marketing design to create a refined and recognisable identity for Blossoms, helping the restaurant establish its own personality while sitting naturally within the wider Rutland Hall experience.

the brief
Rutland Hall wanted to establish a distinctive identity for Blossoms, its restaurant within the resort. The new brand needed to feel sophisticated and contemporary while complementing the character and heritage of Rutland Hall.
Our brief was to develop the Blossoms visual identity and extend it across a range of marketing touchpoints, creating a consistent brand experience across both print and digital communications.
creative approach
The creative approach focused on developing a visual identity that felt distinctive, elegant and appropriate for a premium hospitality environment.
We developed the Blossoms branding alongside a flexible visual language that could work across different applications, from restaurant menus and printed collateral to advertising and digital marketing. Typography, colour, graphic elements and layout were carefully considered to create consistency across every customer touchpoint.
The result was a cohesive identity that gave Blossoms its own recognisable personality while remaining connected to the wider Rutland Hall brand.
THE RESULT
The new Blossoms identity created a distinctive and flexible visual presence for Rutland Hall’s restaurant, providing a consistent foundation for its marketing and customer communications.
The identity was extended across menus, advertising, brand guidelines and other print and digital materials, giving the restaurant a cohesive visual language across its key customer touchpoints.
The positive response from the Rutland Hall team also led to further opportunities to work together, demonstrating the value of combining strategic thinking with practical, high-quality creative design.
“Working with Fitzpatrick Design on our corporate branding has been an absolute pleasure. The concept design stage was made so easy, with the team Always on hand and quick to respond.”
