THE BRIEF
Restaurant and food-to-go brands operate in fast-moving environments where communication needs to be immediate, engaging and easy to understand.
With multiple locations across London, Abokado needed creative support capable of translating marketing messages and campaigns into effective communications across its restaurants.
The challenge was to develop creative that felt fresh and engaging while remaining consistent with the established Abokado brand.
THE CREATIVE APPROACH
Working with an established restaurant brand requires an understanding of its existing visual language, customers and personality.
Rather than reinventing the brand, our role was to work within Abokado's established identity and develop creative communications that felt recognisably part of it.
We created campaign and marketing materials designed to communicate quickly and effectively in busy restaurant environments, combining clear messaging with engaging visual design.
This approach allowed individual campaigns to have their own personality while maintaining consistency with the wider Abokado brand.
THE RESULT
Fitzpatrick Design provided Abokado with flexible creative support across campaign marketing, point-of-sale development and internal communications.
Working within the established identity enabled us to create fresh campaign material while maintaining a recognisable and consistent brand presence across its restaurants.
The relationship demonstrated the value of having a creative partner capable of understanding an established hospitality brand and responding to its ongoing marketing requirements.
RESTAURANT CAMPAIGN DESIGN
Campaigns give restaurant brands an opportunity to introduce new products, communicate promotions and create reasons for customers to engage with the business.
For Abokado, we developed campaign creative and supporting marketing materials designed to work within the existing brand while attracting attention across its restaurant locations.
By considering the campaign as part of the wider customer experience, creative could be adapted across different formats without losing consistency or impact.
POINT-OF-SALE DESIGN
Point-of-sale design plays an important role in the restaurant and food-to-go environment.
Customers often have only seconds to absorb information, so communications need to be visually engaging while making offers, products and messages immediately understandable.
Our work with Abokado included the development of point-of-sale materials that combined the personality of the brand with clear, effective communication.
The result was creative designed not simply to decorate the restaurant environment, but to actively support Abokado's marketing activity at the point where customers make purchasing decisions.
INTERNAL COMMUNICATION DESIGN
Strong brands also need to communicate effectively with the people who represent them.
Alongside customer-facing marketing, Fitzpatrick Design developed internal communication materials for Abokado, helping the business communicate information clearly and consistently across its teams.
Applying strong graphic design to internal communications helps make information more accessible, engaging and recognisably part of the wider organisation.
HOSPITALITY MARKETING DESIGN
Restaurant marketing needs to work across numerous customer touchpoints.
Campaigns, point-of-sale materials, printed communications and in-venue marketing all contribute to how customers experience and understand a hospitality brand.
Our work with Abokado demonstrates how an established restaurant identity can be extended through creative marketing without unnecessarily reinventing the underlying brand.
“A ‘breath of fresh air’ approach from the team at Fitzpatrick Design, who provided excellent creative support and campaign material for Abokado. Thank you so much.”
